We would always advise that your property has a working carbon monoxide detector in place — and that it is regularly tested.
How can I find out if I live in a Smoke Controlled Area?
The best way to find out is to speak to your local council. Smoke control areas are granular; a house on one street might be inside the smoke control area while a property in close proximity falls outside of it. Your council will be able to tell you.
